There is always within ourselves a wonderful essence of knowledge and joy that can be tapped into and enjoyed. Through regular meditation on pure love, and habitual thoughts of God’s wonderful qualities, one can live in wholeness. What one habitually thinks and feels often determines the sort of life one will experience. It is possible to improve one’s outlook on life and vibration rate through correct eating, forgiveness, knowing that we are Spirit, and loving God with deep devotion.
The Lord is My Shepherd; I Shall Not Want…
God, as symbolized by the sun always shines from within, beauty, love, abundance, and warmth on everyone, no matter who or what they are. The sun symbolizes an eternal, ever changing, everlasting joy that forever illuminates and abides within the inner soul. However, it is up to the individual to focus upon it, tune into it and to align one’s consciousness with it, otherwise it cannot be felt or even give much benefit. There is a universal “Law of Abundance ” that always prevails for those who chronically, habitually and constantly focus their minds and hearts on all that which is wholesome, good, true and wonderful. This “Law of Abundance ” is “The Secret ” and the universal law of attraction that the authors, philosophers, metaphysicians and scientists in “The Secret ” talk about as constantly working for everyone without fail. This great truth is profound and unfailingly precise.
In the Bible’s 23rd Psalm, where it says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want… ” want implies fear, desire, lack, etc. If one lives an ethical, pure lifestyle and sincerely attempts daily contact with higher consciousness through devotion, meditation, mantra, and/or prayer, one starts to experience God as a loving parent. One starts to feel there is a great, benevolent, supporting and understanding Power within that seems to have the ability to reduce one’s needs, wants, desires etc. quite dramatically. This Power can be anything to anyone, even the genie in that movie, “The Secret. “
Experience yourself as a child of God (or this great Universal Power), then your Divine Parent(s) (the ever loving Father/Mother God) seems to become an endless source of abundance and love! The Lord is your good “shepherd ” who is always available to guide you, inspire you, and fulfill your needs. If you happen to be Hindu, this “Absolute Power ” can be the “Divine Mother: ” ever loving, ever nurturing, and forever fulfilling! If you are Moslem, it is the great Allah, if you are of the Jewish faith, then it could be Yahweh, and so on.
By centering on God, the “green pastures ” of abundance, prosperity, peace, love and beauty are found inside you. The “still waters ” of meditation restore the soul to its native tranquility, leading you down the path of discrimination, right thinking, right action and success in the name of God.
Although your mortal self is susceptible to the limitations and dangers of the physical world’s “shadow of death, ” the comforting “rod ” and “staff ” of God’s eternal authority and presence confirms your true identity as immortal, divine, and transcendent to all death, disease, fear and limitation.
Even in the presence of your “enemies ” (poverty, imperfections, confusions, limitations, dangers, and various evils, etc.), God can set the empty “table ” of your life with abundant goodness and love. Your “head ” is anointed with the “oil ” of remembrance of your royal, divine inheritance as a child of God. The true nature of your inner Self is abundant joy, dynamic prosperity, love, and bliss; filling your once empty “cup ” of life to overflowing with goods and riches of all kinds.
Your Divine Parents are forever with you, showering “goodness and mercy ” upon you throughout all the days of your life and throughout all the days of your eternal life “in the house of the Lord forever ” on the higher spheres beyond the realms of the physical. “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. ” (John 14:2)
This concept is “The Law of Abundance ” which never fails, always upholds and protects the meek, righteous and nonjudgmental in ways that are either quite surprising and/or far beyond one’s present level of understanding.
Is this Power of Mind and Law of Attraction Real or Just Wishful Thinking?
Because of the subjective benefits of dwelling on pleasant attitudes, it is always far better to focus one’s mind on the ideal of plenty rather than on suffering or lack even if there is no such thing as “mind power ” or some kind of mysterious “law of attraction. ” However, science has confirmed that there is such a power! Therefore it is all the more important to purify the mind towards only thinking and feeling that which is the ideal, or that level of thinking and feeling which creates or provides the most abundant and lasting happiness, and finally to think like and become as similar to the Christ as possible.
Yes “The Secret ” is real, however, that does not mean we can abandon all common sense and expect miracles overnight, because in most of us the effect is only very slight and still needs much time, training and spiritual advancement before one can actually manifest something “overnight. ” The “law of attraction ” is like the law of relativity, even though it is scientifically proven, its effects cannot be noticed right away, but only over a vast amount of distance and/or time such as the slight bend in the line of sight of the planet Mercury caused by the sun’s gravity as it starts to orbit behind the sun, or the slight reduction in nanoseconds of an atomic clock orbiting the Earth compared to one sitting on the Earth’s surface.
Importance of Mental Hygiene
However slight this effect may be, the results of it do accumulate over time. One’s state of being (how one thinks and feels) does matter. Ever heard that the body is the temple of the soul?…and mind is the temple of God? Therefore whatever exists inside the mind actually sooner or later comes to pass in the real world. “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. ” (Proverbs 23:7) So would it not make sense to always keep one’s mind as pristine and pure as possible?
So much goes into washing the outside of the body, and so much effort goes toward keeping up its external appearance along with clean clothing, suits, dresses, deodorants, perfumes, etc. Fortunes are spent just to keep one’s hair looking healthy, styled and beautiful! The neglect of the state of one’s internal mind is so common, it is widely accepted as normal, yet the internal is just as important, if not more important to maintain than the outside. After using a cup, does one just wash the outside of it and then place it in the cupboard?
The Direction of Your Mind/Heart Equals the Direction of Your Life
I believe your inner vision determines your future experiences. If it is a vision of fear and lack, and you are out of balance and unhappy, that will tend to create an unpleasant future. You can heal your life by changing the direction of your thoughts and the attention of your consciousness to all things that are beautiful, good, lovely and abundant. Your life tends to weave out patterns of experience similar to the thoughts you habitually create and believe to be true. The subconscious mind contains a “blue print ” of how things will tend to occur in the future. Your life’s experiences are thus determined by the contents of your subconscious mind. “As you sow, so shall you reap. ” Every kind word, every kind action is forever recorded in the heart of God(dess) and becomes a seed of something wonderful.
Most important of all is your (vibration) level of atonement with God (good). You can increase your vibration rate (sense of inner peace, love and joy) through selfless service to others and compassion for the needy. The higher your vibration rate, the more beauty, purpose, abundance, and prosperity you will attract into your life. Your life is a state of mind. The higher that state (of vibration) the better your life. Worry and fear are often the first things that threaten one’s peace of mind, leading to poverty and sickness. Instead of being sick with worry, it is far, far better to understand the true nature of one’s Higher Self and tune into that Higher Self as much as possible. Whatever thought one puts his or her energy (focus of attention) into will grow and grow in power and reality to an unlimited degree. Like a balloon it will blow up in size according to the amount of attention worry or faith given to it.
The brain is connected to your individual universal holographic thought matrix which exists in 5 and 6 dimensions. This means whenever you visualize a concept or harbor a strong belief system, universal patterns of potential energy pointing directly at you holographically line up outside of space and time to draw to you the very same conditions that most closely resemble the same emotional concepts (belief systems) that you habitually tune into the most. If every atom is just the “tip of the iceberg ” of a universal, holographic, quantum matrix, then what awesome potentials must lie within the human being who’s body is in turn just the “tip of the iceberg ” of an inconceivably vast and complex quantum field!
Faith is Significant, but Don’t Ignore Your Needs!
Believe in and experience the joy of faith as much as possible yet never abandon common sense. Do all you can to strengthen your faith, and build it up. It is an educational process leading to a truly abundant and wonderful life. However, never ignore your needs, common sense, etc., such as the need to stay healthy and productive and fully responsible while maintaining nutritional support and spiritual values. Eat only the healthiest and most wholesome food, take antioxidants, adaptogenic herbs, and a full spectrum of vitamin supplements to maintain a constant state of well-being and happiness leading to a higher vibrational output which in turn attracts a much finer quality of life.
I have seen tendencies among students of yoga, positive thinking, certain religious groups, etc. to think they can abandon common sense and get away with rather shocking financial, eating, sleeping and drinking habits, only to succumb to endless cycles of confusion, lack and sufferings of their own making, or worse: disease and death. An essential part of the “matrix ” of “unlimited ” wealth, happiness, health and healing, etc. are the physical actions required to create and participate in this ideal scenario. Gain wholeness from all angles, any unbalanced approach can bring you only further suffering!
Everything Must Work Together
For the best results in everything, combine the best of everything. The whole organism is greater than the summation of its individual parts. It is important to become familiar with the power of our inner Self to have dominion over all problems big and small. Joseph Murphy, author of The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, How to Use the Laws of the Mind and many other wonderful metaphysical books, provides one the means to a truly positive overall improvement in the quality of living just by upgrading one’s consciousness to a more harmonious and positive belief system. We must always prepare for the worst, but expect and attract the best of everything. Learning to properly use the laws of your mind is an essential part of the grand jigsaw puzzle of creating wholeness and mastery of the Law of Abundance.
