Psychological Time

I was in a car with a friend, I was very tired as I hadn't time to sleep a restful night of sleep, we had to wake up early in the morning to take the road, we were back from holiday after several hours of road, I briefly felt asleep for like 40-60 minutes. I had a dream; it was a long dream, mixing many elements of our finished vacation. I told the dream to my friend and he was fascinated about the way elements of our holiday were mixed into a single story but he was even more fascinated by the length of my dream, that dream could not have taken 60 minutes, it was a long story of at least a day (the dream involves several travels into far distant location and long interaction with many people). This is one of my usual experiences with psychological time.

A description of psychological time by Seth:

Psychological time is a natural connective to the inner world. As you can experience days or hours within its framework in the dream state and not age for the comparable amount of physical time, so as you develop, you will be able to rest and be refreshed within psychological time even when you are awake. This will aid your mental and physical state to an amazing degree. You will discover an added vitality and a decreased need to sleep. Within any given five minutes of clock time, for example, you may find an hour of resting which is independent of clock time. You can look through psychological time at clock time and even use clock time then to your greater advantage; but without the initial recognition of psychological time, clock time becomes a prison.

A proper use of psychological time will not only lead you to inner reality but will prevent you from being rushed in the physical world. It provides quiet and peacefulness.

From its framework, you will see that clock time is as dreamlike as you once thought inner time was. You will discover that 'inner time' is as much as a reality as you once considered outer time to be. In other words, peeping inwards and outwards at the same 'time' you will find that all divisions are illusion and all time is one time.

Experiencing psychological time

By learning to deliberately put yourself in trance and working with psychological time, you will be able to learn more about your inner self and inner realities. It will also help to develop your inner senses, such as your inner eyes, which is the counterpart of your physical eyes with your inner eyes also sometimes called third eye you can perceive things that are distant from you. This ability is typically called remote viewing or clairvoyance; in order to experience psychological time, you will have to put yourself in light trance either with the help of self-hypnosis which is relatively easy to learn or with binaural beat CD sessions, I mention the binaural beats CD because one of my friend developed his inner eyes simply by listening to the Ultra meditation CDs (disc 1 and 2) for a couple of weeks. I had myself great success with them to experience psychological time but not necessarily remote viewing. It depend on each individual.

Jane Roberts author of 'How to develop your ESP Power, Your absolute Quintessential, Complete Guide' learned to put herself in state of light trance with self hypnosis, she used a simple induction technique after 5 months, she started to open her inner eyes and explored inner realities, below is one of her experience from the aforementioned book:

After dinner I put myself in a light trance. It was 6 PM and I wanted to begin dressing by 7. It had been busy day. I dozed, lost all conception of time, and woke suddenly with my eyes still closed. 'I wonder what time it is ?' I thought. Instantly behind my closed eyelids I saw clearly the clock that was in Robert's Studio. Even if my eyes had been opened, and they weren't, I couldn't have seen that particular clock from my bed. There was no clock at all in the room I was resting. I saw the time easily: ten minutes before seven. I accepted this, almost without thinking about it, I instructed my subconscious to let me doze for ten more minutes. When I awakened again I immediately called to Robert, asking him what time it was. It was seven o' clock.

If you learn to let go (because resistance will block any development) and learn to experience psychological time in trance state, you will be rewarded by exploring inner realities and receiving inner data. It might take you a couple of sessions before your succeed, factors to your success are your beliefs about inner self and inner reality and your ability to go in trance.

Happy exploration!
