Hey.  I'm new, and always thought of this stuff as kind of cool... I have to admit I never believed in any of it.  I never really thought about it before though, cause I never heard of it, but my friends always refuse to touch me, cause I'm always freezing cold... my body temperature remains at 98.6, but I'm always immensely cold.  It was always embarrassing, but then someone made a joke that I had Cryokinesis.  I had no idea what he was talking about, so he showed me a site that just explained it.  I thought it was cool, but didn't believe in it.  So there was a joke going on for a few days, and finally they made me hold an ice cube to see how long it took to melt... it did melt, but it took forever haha... I don't get it.. I meditate, but that's for relaxation.  But that ice cube, we're talking it took about 15 minutes to fully melt.  Whereas it only took about 5 minutes for all my friends.  Mostly I just was wondering if I have any potential for anything, and if maybe someone could tell me how to start progress if I do.  Cause people are always asking if I was just outside, or if I got my hands wet and stuck them in the refrigerator haha.  Anyways.  Thanks :-)

Ive always thought of heat as a kinetic enrgy I can utilize as environmental enrgy for tk excercises. In my opinion it is posible you are absorbing the kinetic energy of heat. but where is this energy going? If I can suggest? Start a journal record any observations times, insight and and perspectives. This will help clear the mind and give perspective later one. Experiment however dont forget to factor in the uncertainty principle. Decide some goals and a worthwhile motivation which will help you stick with it. Practice every day or spend time on this and you will be able to develope an ability Believe in yourself.

Wow, Thanks... I'll try it... It gives me a use for my new journal I got for Christmas anyways lol.  I'm nervous now... I didn't know this kind of stuff took so much belief in yourself haha.  I was a chemistry major, and when you said "But where is the heat going?" it kind of scared me.  Cause I never though of any of that stuff... but when you mention it, everything works in "heat" as energy, not as "cold"... I can't hurt myself can I?  or anyone else?  Cause I saw alot of stuff blow up when we put heat into something or took heat out in chem labs Undecided... I'll try everything you say though... and even if nothing happens, I always found meditating relaxing as is :-D lol.

I don't think I would like to see a person blow up. That would be weird. Anyway, have you had any success?

I'd also recommend doing some energy work to generate heat such as qigong, NEW or Tummo.  Too much cold can stagnate your energy and nerves.  You could also try hot/cold showers.

I may have to try the first part.^_^ That sounds like a good idea.

Cold water dowsing can actually be really good for psychic development too.  The hard core version of this is to stand under waterfalls, the colder the better.  Some of the reasons that martial artists used to do this may have been lost but one description of it is to clear 'negative spirits' and be open to the divine.

That's so cool.  Waterfalls?  jease.  And I REALLY was not planning on going out and blowing someone up if that's what you thought lol.  I took all the advice I read and so far, I'm doing okay.  basically I can't do anything more than what I said before, but I can do it on command lol.  I haven't really made anything stronger.  And let me tell you, taking a cold shower every day is not fun haha.  I did notice one more thing though.  Not only have I been attempting to cool the water as it's rushing over me, but I've tried to make it move certain ways.  It's been kind of fun.  If anyone wants to try something like that, I've even gotten to the point where I can make it spiral off my finger without moving it.  I'm not sure if it's sub conscience, but even if it is... something fun to do in the shower lol.   Roll Eyes well.  I'm still working on it, and being able to make yourself do it on command is a step up.
