Psychic attack

I believe I may have been recently attacked or had an attempt to influence myself towards something I do not believe

I was wondering what exactly such a thing would/could feel like

I had been in a debate with someone on a forum and they seemed to become slightly heated or angry during this although I had tried to speak softly to not pull emotion into it

I am not certain how much time had passed since they responded last to my post, but I suddenly felt a wave of warmth and had a sudden monologue within my head and I felt a complete change of heart on the subject and immediately wished to go to my computer and post a total agreement with this individual, but the feeling felt incredibly alien to me, my body was vibrating differently then normal and my inner voice seemed altered (I rarely think with a monologue in my head, so hearing a voice in my head is unusual for me unless I am weighing multiple options or rationalizing something)

What happened next was a bit stranger, I suddenly felt a feeling of anger, this feeling was not my own but it definitely came from my mind or some part of myself
Once this occurred my mind acted on its own, Thousands of voices chanting mantra's of power and speaking strange languages went off in my head, I felt an immense rush of energy within myself and the voices suddenly projected themselves in a beam.

I could not tell where this energy was being directed but I had a strong feeling that it was being directed towards whatever source had caused the strange thoughts

I could still feel the strange vibration within my body until I attempted to form a shield through believing that I could, and pushing the radius of the shield further out to around a mile or so radius

was this some attempt at influencing me or attacking me?  and what was the weird reaction that my mind seemed to take without me intending to do it? 
was my subconscious angered or something?

My guess is that first part was someone influencing you, and second part just your mind playing tricks...
If so, attacker was probably using tps (telepathic suggestion)...
The best way to protect yourself from it is to train your mind better. Shields could come in handy but this works much better. Everything that you do goes through 'critical factor', a mechanism in your mind that checks why you did what you did. TPS, just like hypnosis, is bypassing critical factor, so you don't do that intentionaly... Try thinking about everything you do, why you do, and are you sure it's you (even though it's most likely you)... That will streighten your critical factor, and will make it harder to bypass...

That is actually exactly how I caught onto the influencing, I actually do something quite like that all the time

I think the noise in my head might have been more of an attempt to block the incoming influences by throwing up interference all around me
I dunno if that would do anything but I was having almost a mental block on trying to concentrate on something other then my decision before I did it and that seemed to clear it up, haha
