Which crystals work the best?

Well, depending on the crystal, they can improve telepathy, channeling, manifesting, healing. I was talking about quartz crystals here.
But gems and semi-precious stones are used for specific purposes and many times are linked to specific chakras.I would warmly recommend the books of Katrina Raphael on the subject, for starters.

Sorry, I can't really buy any books like that.  My mom would probably be o.k. with it but my dad's too skeptical and won't allow it.  Anyway, I have a few crystals: purple amethyst, quartz, and other things that I don't know the names to.  Do you know if hematite does anything (its the silverish stone that has a black tinge to it and has magnetic properties)?  I have a hematite stone in my class ring and was wondering if it helps.  Well, I'll google it or something to try to find something but you may know something that I can't find so, please, don't hesitate to let me know, o.k.?

Hematite enhances vitality, increases the resistance to stress, helps the blood purify and inflamatory processes to stop, protects  and disperses negative energy.
Its main purpose is to connect and integrate spirit into the material body. It sort of serves like an "anchor" for the subtle bodies, to keep them connected with the physical one.It can also help to "rejuvenate" the body, by integrating more light into the cells.
Hematite also can be used to activate the Third Eye. For some people it intensifies the projection of positive thoughts, while for others it can help them to perceive their inner self with more accuracy.

The third eye?  Do you mean clairvoyance?  Well, I'll look into it again sometime.  Anyway, today I was looking for something in my basement and I came across a container of mine that I had lost that has all sorts of stones and crystals.  I've always been sort of fascinated by certain rocks and crystals, but I'll try to send you some pictures of them if you want.  If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me if they help too, or even what they are?  I have a lot of different stones and don't even know what most of them are called.  I'd say that my most interesting rock that I have is a rock I found YEARS ago in San Diego when I was a little kid.  It's about the size of my fist and, when looked at from one side, is shaped almost perfectly like a heart.  It's also always cold to the touch and seems to be almost unbreakable so I don't know what's inside.  And if you're wondering, it is naturally formed, it wasn't made into the shape of a heart by anyone.

Oh, one more thing, do you know which stones/crystals that help the most in developing telekinesis and pyrokinesis?  I tried looking it up myself but all I can find is stuff about stones themselves and how they help with healing and stuff to do with chakras.  Sorry for all the requests but I don't have much research time of my own on my hands.  My brother has been getting on here a lot lately and hasn't been giving me much of a chance to get on.  Every time I am on these days is at night before I go to bed.  I'll try again myself before I go to bed tonight.

Unfortunatelly, I do not know if there are certain crystals to help you with that, but I guess you can use a clear quartz generator crystal and program it for such purposes.

I'm way into crystals.

I have found that you can never go wrong with Quartz-based crystals.

Amethyst is great for meditation, it centers you and dissolves you into your environment, very deep and guided meditation.

Clear Quartz is great for psychic/shamanic visions, they provide clear images, unfortunately I don't have a big enough Quartz to make this happen, I have played around with huge clear quartz chunks and they show you alot more than the tumbled piece I own.

Obsidian is an amazing psychic shield. I have been attacked by psi-vamps [or another theory someone else had was an Electromagnetic disturbing machine] (which I'm sure has something to do with MK-ULTRA, I happen to live where a lot of ex-Merry Pranksters reside) and I noticed that this crystal is like taking a nice cold shower of clean energy. If you ever had "chest pains" that seem to come out of nowhere, put a big chunk of obsidian in your heart chakra and tell the GOP to go fuck itself.

Kyanite is a great purifier too, cleans my sinuses right out

Tiger's Eye, I'm not sure what it does exactly but I always use it in combination with clear quartz for visionary purposes, works nicely

Hematite, is very grounding, it's nice after heavy energy work and you feel like your head is a balloon.

I have a quartz i think  its called a Chinese Dimond or something but it a type of quarts its clear and its always really cold when pick it up
