Life After Life After Life

Reincarnation – a life after this life after another……

What a wonderful thought that our soul is immortal and embarks upon a new chapter and learning curve with each successive human lifetime!

There are many who intuitively feel that subsequent human births will follow this one. Others cannot consider the idea of ‘having to return’ to endure all they have had to this life and totally reject the idea of recycled souls as unfortunately the opportunity for fresh and brighter experiences.

There are occasional people who fancy that they have lived a previous life of great fame and splendour with magnificent achievements that allow them to identify with heroes of the past and regrettably all too often is Cleopatra or Napoleon the selected claim.

Yet many of us remember past lives, or parts of some, that filter through into present day habits, personality talents and sometimes as unreasonable fears, instant likes and dislikes of people and require reason and balanced attitudes in self discipline, or a skilled philosopher or psychotherapies to help reduce the negatives and be free to experience the positives. There are also strong happy memories recovered spontaneously without any apparent outer cause. Both happy and tragic times and experiences are naturally most heavily engraved in the soul.

At certain stages of individual enquiry into spiritual matters, it becomes important that we recall a difficult lesson from the past for some reason we can only speculate about, as this usually is a matter directed by greater intelligences beyond our understanding. Sometimes it may be to observe our physical death in a previous life in order to be convinced of the immortal nature of our soul. Or it may be to recall a humble role in a previous life to balance a dominant place in society at the moment.

But certainly we must hazard a guess that previous life recall is not for our indulgence or entertainment but to help us face up to our responsibilities in this present life.

Only when we are progressing in overcoming our material nature and are better attuned to our soul do we earn a likelihood of seeing a speeded up spiritual ‘video’ of our soul’s total journey to this point.

The reluctance to face reincarnation as a natural law was instilled in those of Christian faith following the deliberate eradication of the concept from the early church doctrinal teachings. There is no such hesitancy in other religions and philosophies. In the Hindu culture it is a simple custom of parents to encourage infants to express any dim memory of a previous life should they wish to communicate about matters that do not relate to the present. This is unlike western parents whose habit is often to punish such recall as mere fantasy or lies.

Memories of all kinds, recent or long term are important. But it is our beliefs and ideas that guide us in our present lives together with our innate sense of moral and ethical values stronger than any assumed codes or unproductive reminders of the past.

Ideologies that focus on future rewards and strengthen the belief that self sacrifice will be rewarded in a future heavenly state promise ample after death. Any promised reward such as that of a large harem, makes young men eager to die so that they can indulge in future sensory pleasures.

Others choose to believe in being good in a life of service to others so that after death they can mingle with souls of friends and loved ones of like company.

For most of us who sincerely love this planet Earth, there is only the motivation to appreciate the wonderful gift of life opportunity in our wondrous natural environment and will yearn to return here following the completion of our present life. If it is love and appreciation that determines our fate, then perhaps this is likely to recur as an attractive proposition.

Those who seek the truth will consider the concept and perhaps realise the perfect order and justice that accompanies our advances through the ‘classroom ‘we share on earth, sharing an equal opportunity we all have to grow in intelligent understanding of life. This right of free will functions regardless of our inherited material circumstances that reflect our debits and credits in the divine justice we know as the Law of Karma. It is this law that spiritual teachers of all eras have referred to when in their wisdom as they instruct us to “Have faith in The Law”. It is this justice and fairness that permits no ‘favourites’ that our secular law seeks to emulate, however poorly.

In accepting the natural law of reincarnation and our future incarnations as inevitability within the natural justice system of Karma that functions to give each of us our due, brings comfort to allow greater advances in spiritual growth to be made. We are inclined to reduce our chaffing against the seeming injustices of human society and soothe any feelings of impatience and anxiety regarding limited life time. We have all the time in the world!

Just as a member of society must acquire knowledge of the established laws of a country before functioning within it, so we all must acquire knowledge and be familiar with the universal laws of life that apply throughout in the moral and spiritual life environment in which we share.

When we find our way through the many adventures, experiences and discoveries that result from use of our free will and that require our wise choices… we find that it is way well trodden. It is lit by the wisdom of others who have gone safely before us, as well as by our own inner wisdom – the spiritual wealth of life experience accumulated by our soul, life after life….

How to Have an Out of Body Experience Basics

Information abounds regarding how to have an out of body experience. Some of what’s out there is great, and some, while well-meaning, can be confusing or misleading. We’re going to begin to peek behind the veil here and de-mystify the out of body experience.

If you’ve read anything about the subject, you’ll know that relaxation is the first step. Before we go any further, this is a good time to establish a rule of thumb: tailor all of this to what personally works for you. The subject of relaxation is a perfect example. Some guides will tell you to go into a dark and silent room. While that may work splendidly for some, other people may feel a certain unease in such a setting, as if there’s an unsaid pressure to…RELAX! If you’re that type of person, you’ll know what I mean. While we certainly want to set a mood for our out of body experience and free ourselves of distractions, please consider what works best for you. For example, some people respond well to soothing, instrumental music in the background. The only thing that I categorically recommend against is having anything violent or negative on in the background, be it on the TV, stereo or anything else. We want to provide a bedrock of positive energy for this.

Several other factors come to mind when we consider how to have an out of body experience. Neither being too hungry, nor being stuffed right after a big meal, are recommended. Eating any foods close to beginning your session that contain caffeine or a high sugar content is also a no-no. Beginning at a time other than when you normally fall asleep will help as well. If you have a place in your home where you usually meditate, then that will serve you well for the out of body session. Only use your bed if you are confident you will not fall asleep there. Of course, you don’t want to be disturbed, so attend to anything that may do so prior to beginning. As for other people present with you: it’s not at all necessary. If you wish to have someone in the room with you, make sure it’s someone you trust completely.

Okay, so we’ve cleared any possible distractions, set a comfortable environment, and have prepped ourselves with certain things to help us relax and let go. Now what? First, don’t have any expectations, especially if it’s your first time. No matter what, the relaxation and meditation you’re doing is healthy and beneficial. Even if seemingly nothing happens the first few times, just know you’re building new spiritual and energetic muscles. These will help you achieve fuller and deeper experiences in the near future.

As you are laying down, use breath and your attention to focus on different body parts. We’ve all heard variations on this, so if you already have a technique that you know can give you that sense of relaxed awareness, by all means, do that. For those less familiar, the basic idea is to relax each part of your body individually. You can start at the feet and work your way up to your head, or vice versa. Some people simply put all of their attention on the body part. Imagine feeling a warm glow or picturing a bright light enveloping a given body part (you audio people out there could also imagine hearing a hum of energy). Some people find they like to tense each body part for a few seconds and then release. Here’s a little secret though: the brain has certain chemistry and vibrational states that are optimal for out of body experiences. In fact, the brain has certain chemistry and vibrational states that align with any state. The brain while angry is different from the brain while making love, or while doing a math equation. The same holds for what we think of as mystical states. Binaural beats, an audio meditation technology using headphones, can guide the brain into different states for different purposes. Yes, there are some terrific audio meditations specifically for out of body experiences.

After the initial relaxation technique above, we’re going to go one step further. We will do so by focusing on the chakras. Chakra simply means “wheel,” and there are seven primary chakras, or wheels of energy, that are placed vertically along your body, up your spine. They are not visible to the naked eye, but they’re there. Interestingly, each of the seven major chakras correspond with a physical gland. This chakra system comes from the Hindus. Most of the world’s cultures have different ways to describe the energy flows in the human body, but they all echo one another. Remember, as we explore how to have an out of body experience, we are dealing with the subtle body, not just your physical body. The subtle body is another way to look at your subconscious or higher self. Whenever we feel or sense something that is not acutely physical, the subtle body is involved. Ultimately what we are doing here is consciously separating the awareness of the subtle body from the location of your physical body. Some even believe there are more to dreams than we think, and that we separate these bodies every night as we dream! No matter what, do not fear you “won’t come back,” nothing like that is going on here.

Back to the chakras. We’re going to use a similar process to the body part relaxation technique. The first chakra is at the root of the spine. It grounds us to the earth and connects us to the energies of survival. Its color is red. Focus on it, feel the warmth. After a few moments, bring your focus up to the sacral chakra, halfway between your pubic bone and belly button. It is your creativity and sexual energy. It is orange. Next move the awareness up the solar plexus. This is your willpower, your personality energy. It is yellow. Next up is the heart in the center of the chest. This is your love, your gratitude. It connects the upper and lower chakras and is green. After a few moments of energizing the heart, gently push the energy up into the throat chakra, your seat of communication. It is blue, your expression of truth. Free your natural voice. Next up is the third eye in the middle of your brow. Here resides your intuition. It is indigo. The seventh, final chakra is at the top of your head, the crown chakra. It is violet and connects you to the Ultimate, Nameless. It is pure consciousness. Feel free to cycle back down now. You can repeat this chakra amplification a few times. It’s great for mind, body, and spirit. Think of it like a battery charge. It will rev you up as you are feeling out how to have an out of body experience.

Once our energy centers are warmed up and humming, we’ll want to start feeling the subtle, astral body more fully. Allow yourself to experience the sensation where you’re about to physically move, but don’t. Try it for individual body parts. Then, try it for your whole body. That sensation will train you to more aptly feel your astral body, the part of you that will remain conscious and be able to travel to other parts of this world, or other worlds entirely. It’s like your little personal capsule that allows you to ride the radio waves of the universe, tuning in to varying frequencies. To aid your learning how to have an out of body experience, also add this: in your imagination, picture yourself (astrally) up by your ceiling, looking down at your own body. Sure, it may just be your imagination at first, but it’s important. Even professional athletes mentally rehearse prior to events. The benefits are numerous. Once you get used to this, picture a place in the world you may want to see in your out of body experience. Focusing on a picture prior to your session will help. You may also want a picture taped to the wall to occasionally open your eyes and glance at. This trains your mind to focus, saying, “this is where I want to go.”

Well, those techniques should certainly get you started!

I look forward to adding more useful info soon!

Were We Lovers in a Past Life? Psychic Love Connections and Spiritual Soul Mates

Were we together in a past life? Is my boyfriend, husband or lover my true spiritual soul mate? Are psychic love connections possible… and if so, HOW so? Are twin flames real… or just wishful thinking, and new age nonsense? Any of these questions sound familiar? In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at some of the signs you may have been lovers in a past life, and are psychically and spiritually connected in THIS one as well! Curious to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look below.

What is a psychic love connection, anyway?

The 6th sense that you are connected to another person in a way that transcends words, or goes above and beyond the common ways people communicate. For example, many twins are known to feel “sympathetic” pain when the other is ill or injured. They often describe feeling, sensing and “knowing” things about the other, even when separated by hundreds or even thousands of miles. And most incredibly, these psychic sensations and connections take place, EVEN in cases where the twins didn’t even KNOW they had a twin yet.

Of course while twins are some of the more extraordinary examples of this sort of connection, there are plenty of examples of similar psychic connections between mothers and their children, ordinary siblings and of course, husbands, wives, lovers and others connected in a more conventional romantic sense.

Q: How can I tell if my current lover was also a partner in a previous lifetime as well?

Some people have shared memories with their partners that precede a current lifetime or incarnation. For example, if you have recurring memories of being in another culture, country or even century of human history, and those memories INCLUDE events and experiences with your partner, that is a pretty compelling sign. But, if your PARTNER has the same independent memories, and you can share details of these “dreams” in way that validates your own private experiences, it’s a very strong sign of a psychic link between you, and quite possibly… a “karmic” connection as well.

Some of the ways that you can validate a karmic connection or shared past life memory?

– Journaling can be a great tool for not only recall, but for comparing and contrasting your memories to see what elements are consistent between both of your past life experiences.

– Certain types of meditation, especially those that use visualization, can be a great way to go back in time together, and “re-live” and often resolve karmic issues that many couples carry from lifetime to lifetime as well.

– Past life regression can be a fun thing to do, too! (just remember to only work with a qualified regression therapist if you go this route)

– Past life psychic readings, done together… or independently can also be a ton of fun, and offer an inexpensive and inspiring experience for past life recall, and for confirming your connection to another person as a spiritual soulmate or twin flame connection. (a third party, especially a psychic or intuitive who specializes in past lives, can offer a lot of extra validation that you may not get on your own)

Remember, if you DO believe that we are bigger than our bodies, and that spiritual dimensions are real, it follows that each of us has a purpose, a path and a plan. And because none of us walk this road in life alone, it follows that we are gifted with others to join us as we go, grow and flow in the direction of our spiritual destiny!

An Astrological Glimpse Of What Kind of President Hillary Clinton Might Be

I have a friend (actually, a cousin – but just as most of my friends aren’t also cousins, not all of my cousins are necessarily friends) who’s made it clear that, with regard to the possibility of a Hillary Clinton presidential administration, he’s a sexist before he’s a Democrat or Republican. It did me no good trying to persuade him that a woman could be just as politically competent as any half-white foreigner born in America by pointing out that Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, a woman, was president of Iceland for 16 years, or that Mary McAleese presided over Ireland for 13 years, or that someone named Margaret Thatcher had Meryl_Streep play her in a film, as a woman supposedly running the U.K. during the years Ronald Reagan was busy over here making the Republican Party a place safe for those secretly nostalgic for the times before Women’s suffrage and the Emancipation Proclamation. And those were just the white women on the list I’d previously searched.

No, he was of the same mind as Dr? Julie Holland, who wrote an article for Time back in April stating something to the effect that menstruation makes human brains incapable of optimum leadership. (Hmmm. Dr? Julie Holland?.. As in one of those types of doctors who still say bread is good for you and bacon fat makes you fat?) Yes, he’s against Mrs. Clinton becoming president while Dr? Holland is for it, but they both share the same peculiarly American mindset that can focus on issues and the experience of a political candidate and bypass genital considerations, just so long as that candidate’s genital is a penis.

Me, I’d rather look at a candidate in a way that reveals his or her every potential. And Hillary Clinton’s natal chart reveals an individual of remarkable emotional depth and strength. And I’m pretty sure it was present even before she went through menopause, or had her first orgasm, or did anything else a normal human woman does while also somehow not having her character completely defined by it. Did FDR masturbate? I don’t know. Probably. Is the question in any way relevant to anything he did as President of the United States? Probably not.

Anyway, I was first struck by the sheer strength of the sign Scorpio (emotional depth and strength) in her chart. It’s not only the sign on the cusp of her Ascendant, which denotes the style with which we first encounter the world (the first “face” we show) it contains her all-important Sun(ego), Venus(values, love) and Mercury(intellect) as well. And as if that weren’t emphasis enough, her Moon’s South Node (indicative of past life tendencies brought into this life) conjuncts the Scorpio Ascendant and Mercury while modern Scorpio ruler Pluto – exactly conjunct ancient Scorpio ruler Mars and loosely conjunct her stern, serious Saturn – forms powerful squares to them all from proud, powerful Leo (Bill Clinton’s Sun sign).

One thing Hillary Clinton isn’t is weak. Assuming (even though some men and women are weaker or stronger than other men and women) that overall, men as a sex are emotionally stronger than women as a sex, one could be forgiven for concluding that Hillary Clinton is not a woman. Except that she is. And the assumption that men are emotionally stronger than women is a stupid assumption. See, emotions belong to the water domain/element in the zodiac, and our former Secretary of State has a chart saturated in it. Besides all the aforementioned Scorpio water energy in her horoscope, her Moon (the most prominent indicator of our moods and instinctive security needs)is placed in spiritual Pisces and forms a perfectly harmonious trine with her Mercury and Ascendant. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty ready to have a leader who really cares. Really cares in the sense that (as Bill Clinton was overly fond of saying) that leader can “feel your pain”. Feeling anyone else’s pain requires what’s known as empathy, and the less you have of it, the more you have in common with sociopaths and serial killers.

Water signs are generally not suited to leadership, and I say “generally” because Scorpio is the exception to that rule to an exponential degree. Scorpio cannot only feel your pain, it ruthlessly tracks down its source and surgically removes it. Scorpios are determined, passionate, dedicated, and possess penetrating insight into the workings of such notoriously tricky things as politics. Scorpios don’t always readily display their passion, but trust that it’s always there, driving them to fulfill their desires and their strong sense of life purpose. Sure, they can be ruthless, but Hillary’s Pisces Moon ensures that love and compassion will keep her Scorpio dynamism in check.

Yes, America, you’re behind on this one too. Maybe this first death you’re undergoing will result in acceptance of the fact that anything a man can improve or destroy, a woman can possibly improve or destroy better. Or just as well. Or not as well. Because they’re human. Like men. Wait, what were we talking about?
